As human beings, we change, adapt, and grow with time. It’s the basics – The laws of evolution…
We are no different.
We’ve been swept away by the winds of change. We’ve grown, evolved, and become better human beings. The journey has not been a bed of roses. Not even close. There were thorns. Not one, not two, but several of them. Countless thorns. We were hurt. Beaten. Battered. Ravaged.
Yet, we trudge on… With a firmer resolve, with stronger might…
Many people around us are averse to change. They are stuck in their own time-warp of regressive thoughts and actions. They have deliberately turned a blind eye to the winds of change, and they keep themselves firmly ensconced in the muddy waters of regressive thought. These people are forced by their regressive mindsets to look down on people like us, who see life in a different light… They go to the extent of banishing us from their lives, making us social outcasts. Not too long ago, we were the apple of their eye. But hatred, it’s like a virus. It spreads faster than the speed of thought.
In hindsight, our evolution has made us realize that it’s for the good. It’s a process.
C’est la vie.
Because even before the others knew it, we were hundreds of miles ahead of them, in terms of growth. As they say, pain builds character. Being outcasts make us go faster, higher, and stronger towards our goals. We no longer have those regressive chains of despair locking us in.
The pain that we’ve suffered over the years have helped us build character.
We’re thankful for whatever we have, whatever we have gained, and whatever we have lost in this beautiful process….
And we’re thankful for all the beautiful gifts that we are about to receive…
“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
